End of the SCOOP

Tuesday, May 24th, 2011

For this SCOOP I didn't intend to play many mtts, because they finished really late and where I make the biggest part of my money is at the satellites. With the black friday issue, they changed the timeschedule of the SCOOP so that it's earlier in the day and the night tournaments became turbos, so I chose to play some.
In general, I honestly think I got unlucky and lost many hands that were winning 80%+, but that's the way Poker is and there's the WCOOP coming up in a few months :)

Part of my work as a PokerStars representative is to host main final tables. It's something that I like to do and it's an honor not only to represent PokerStars, but also to help the players with what they need when they are playing for so much money. Unfortunately, I was at some final tables that were finishing very late and had to stay awake until 6 o'clock in the morning when I had to wake up early the next day to play, which threw me off balance during the past week.

As for the sit-n-gos, the month began in an exceptional way, with lots of volume and huge profit. After that, the sit-n-go volume went slightly down. During the last days, I had a terrible run and I was playing bad for my standards since I was exhausted. It was good to see the importance of having a stable schedule and keeping the balance. I like a lot to go to sleep and wake up at the same time everyday. :)

As far as VPPs are concerned it wasn't as good as I expected at the end of the first week, but even so I finished the SCOOP with 210k VPPs for the month. I still have 4-5 days left to play until the end of the month, so I should finish with around 270 VPPs, which is exceptional for me.

I'll only put the graphic of the month at the end of the month, but it's still possible that it beats last month's record, it has to do with how these last days go :)

Yesterday I took the day off to rest and today I'll attack the hypers!

See you at the tables!
