NEXT: EPT Barcelona

As I wrote here at my blog before, I paid the EPT Vienna with FPPs and I spent a week playing poker in Vienna.

I didn't make it past day one at the main event, losing with a set of Kings against a flush. However, there were side events running all week long and I managed to make my first final table at a live tournament, 3rd place at a tournament of €1110!

On Sunday I lost the flight to Lisbon and in the end I didn't do my normal Sunday grinding, but it was good to have some time to "stop and think", which is not always possible. I had bought the flight with the miles that I have at Lufthansa. They have a promotion where if you book a flight between 2 to 15 days before, you can choose to only pay 15k miles instead of 25k, but you can't change the flight after. I need to start saving my miles for flights that I have absolute certainty I'm not going to reschedule, because it can be quite expensive to buy a flight on the day before.

Next EPT is Barcelona and I already bought a package for the tournament with my FPPs!

Buying the packages for these tournaments is worth it, because PokerStars calculates the cost of the package and reduces 10% of this cost for whoever buys it with FPPs!

At the beginning of the year I had $0 in lifetime winnings, but since I am SuperNova Elite I had the possibility of playing the EPT Monte Carlo, and after that as I have a lot of FPPs from making it to SNE, I played more tournaments and I now have $63099 in live tournament winnings!

I have been learning a lot and I'm confident that there will be more final tables. The important thing is to keep learning and playing!

In the meanwhile, I need almost another 130 VPPs to renew SNE status this year, I should do it at the beginning of next month.
